March Family Portraits in San Antonio | A Sweet Session with a Family of Three

Earlier this spring, we had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful family of three here in San Antonio. Even though it was March, the weather surprised us—it turned out to be cold and windy, but this family showed up with great attitudes and warm smiles, ready to make the most of it.

As a photographer in San Antonio, we’ve learned that sometimes the most memorable sessions happen when things don’t go perfectly. The wind added movement to the photos and a fun, playful energy—especially with their beautiful little girl, who was full of curiosity despite the chill in the air. She kept things lighthearted and fun, and you’d never guess from the photos just how cold it really was!

We chose a quiet outdoor spot that gave us plenty of room to move around and capture natural, candid moments. That’s one of the things we love most about San Antonio photography—the variety of beautiful backdrops available no matter the season.

This session wasn’t about perfect weather or picture-perfect poses. It was about connection—between parents and their daughter—and embracing the season they’re in. Those real, unscripted moments are what make family portraits in San Antonio so meaningful.
